Obituary of HOCHLANDER – Sash Damara-Eve

January 18, 1988 – January 5, 2010 Sash Hochlander of Calgary, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, January 5, 2010 at the age of 21 years. Sash was born in Moose Jaw, SK. and lived in Rockglen, SK Calgary, AB and Okotoks, AB. She came to Calgary when she was five years old. She was a member of the Girls Hockey Calgary since the age of ten years and continued her hockey career at the University of Vermont and Mount Royal College. Sash graduated from the Edge School in Calgary. Sash found her true calling in the area of Child Studies. She was in her fourth year at Mount Royal College and found true passion in her work with developmentally challenged children. Sash is survived by her true love, Eric Hansen and family; her dog Mulligan; her parents Joe and Jacey Hochlander, and Jacquie and Vern Nagy; her sister Kayla Hochlander; and brother Kade Nagy. A Celebration of Life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Eastside Memorial Chapel (5388 Memorial Drive N.E.) on Friday, January 8, 2010, at 2:00 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
