Hello, Jane.
It is a credit to how memorable your father was that when I saw his picture in the newspaper I knew immediately who it was, even though it has been more than 30 years since I last saw him. I remember him as a gentle, happy man. I know he will be greatly missed.
My deepest condolences go out to you and Joyce (who I also remember, but I’m sure she looks very different than she did 30 years ago.)
It would be a pleasure to reconnect again, although I wish it were under happier circumstances.
