Obituary of NAUMESCU – Mihaela Rodica

July 8, 1963 – December 12, 2009 Mihaela Rodica Naumescu, beloved wife of Alex, passed away on Saturday, December 12, 2009 at the age of 46 years. Mihaela was born in Tarnaveni, Romania. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering in Romania and an Accounting Diploma in Canada. She moved with her family to Canada in 1996 and lived in both Calgary and Red Deer. Mihaela and Alex were married on 23-April-1988. Their most memorable moment was definitely the birth of their daughter, Julia, in 1988. Mihaela enjoyed her career: an accountant at Collins Barrow LLP and was one step away from a CGA professional designation. Mihaela was of strong Christian Orthodox Faith. She always enjoyed a good book, listening to Il Divo, and vacationing in sunny and warm places. She could never turn down a piece of cake, especially her favourite, “Tort Diplomat”. She has always approached everything gracefully and kept her family closest to her heart.
