Condolences
To Harold – with whom I worked – A mother’s love continues on in all her children, even when she has been called to her peace. May your family know comfort in one another, at this sad time.
Dear Dick and family,
We were so sad to read in the paper this morning
that Lena had passed away. We offer you our deepest sympathy. We have many happy memories of our
families spending time in Banff together when our
children were young. Lena was a beautiful woman
inside and out. She will be missed by all that knew her. With Sympathy,
Joan and Jim Hume
To Dick and Family:
Although many years have passed since that fateful spring of 1955, I have memories of you and Lena sharing your early years in that shiny aluminum Spartan trailer, first in Grimshaw and later in Taber with The Geotechnical Foreign Corporation. As the last (real) party chief for whom I worked I found you to be most decent, fair-minded, and a friend.
There are no words to fill the emptiness left by the departure of a loved one, especially after so many years and so much living. Your children are a tribute to a life well lived, and Lena will live on in their hearts and memories.
Our sincere condolences to you and your family.
Margaret and Evert Johnson
