Condolences
Dear Michele, Mrs. Gillis and Family:
I was very sorry to read of your dad’s and husband’s passing. I will always remember him driving us all down to work at the Stampede grounds, and the positive and patient way he dealt with that mob of Junior High girls who worked at the Corral. My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time.
Sincerely,
Sandy Cameron Jaeger
Dear Auntie Yvette and family,
Our thoughts are with you all at this difficult time. I am so sorry I was unable to get to Calgary to express my sympathies in person. As you all know, Uncle Ron held a special place in my heart and I will miss him dearly. He was a lucky man to have such a loving wife and great children, I am sure he is smiling down on everyone. I will celebrate his life today in Regina. May peace be with you all,
Amy, Trevor, Taylor and Kade

Dearest Family of John Gillis,
I join with so many others in offering my deepest sympathy on his passing. Although it is little consolation at this sad time, it should be of some satisfaction to know that in his passing you can celebrate the end of a very long and productive life.
The measure of a life well-lived is not in how much money one has or what possessions they have accumulated, but rather through the lives they touched and the sorrow they leave behind. If the outpouring of sympathy on his loss is any indication, and it most certainly is, you can proudly and confidently say that his indeed was a life well-lived.
May you find peace and comfort in knowing that his loss is felt by all who knew and loved him.
In Sympathy,
Heidi
