Condolences
Dear Keil Family,
Patricia, on behalf of ASIS Chapter 162, please accept our sincere condolences to you and your family.
Rob will be missed by his many friends and colleagues at ASIS 162, the Calgary and Southern Alberta chapter. So many of our members expressed their respect and gratitude for the generosity, happiness and warmth that Rob brought to their professional and personal lives. He was very special to us and will be missed by so many.
Our thoughts are with you and your family.
Kindest regards.
Kathy Macdonald
Dear Robert’s Family,
My deepest condolences to you and your family. Robert was filled with life and will be greatly missed by many. I had the privilege of working with Robert with Frisco Bay Industries out of the Winnipeg office. We shared many good times both in and out of work.
Robert was one of the few people you could be friends with and maintain a professional relationship with as well. He often referred to me as “boyo”. I would later learn from him that was a slang term meaning good friend or mate. A term he indicated he only used in rare cases. This meant a lot to me. I was also very fortunate to learn a lot of valuable lessons in the business world from him. I truly appreciated these gifts.
One of the last times I saw Robert he was very generous in giving me a golf driver that he felt I could do better with than him. I still have this and will treasure it more than ever. I will remember our times on the golf courses together every time I use it. He was always very generous.
He will be sadly missed.
Brent
Patricia, I have known Robert since 1999 when he came to work for us at Frisco Bay. We worked closely together for many years until he asked for a new challenge. Robert was a great leader and a team player. we spent many hours together both personally and professionally and I always enjoyed being with him.
My deepest condolences to you and your family. I am sure his memory will be cherished by you and your family forever. Rest in peace my good friend.

Dear Pat and Family

Patricia: I am so sorry for your loss. I was supposed to meet Robert in Dubai last week. I am shocked by the news. When I was in Dubai earlier this year I got to spend such quality time with him; he is and was an amazing man. I hope I can contact you in the near future. Mike
Rob’s untimely passing certainly cut short the time a great man would spend on this earth. Rob would never tell you his troubles but would always listen to yours and offer a resolve. We worked together throughout his time with Frisco Bay and Stanley. And after leaving for Dubai Rob would phone on Birthdays and Christmas. He helped me through an illness my wife had, and inspired her to get well.
I truly miss him as a friend.
My deepest condolences. I knew Robert for a short time but he was someone you do not forget. He was a great person and co-worker. He will be missed.
My most sincere condolences to Robert’s family.
I have only admiration and respect for his love of adventure. Everyone dreams of Everest, he was the only person I knew who actually did it. That says a lot a bout who he was.
I will miss him.
On behalf of my family and friends from Dubai & India, I would like to extend our condolence to Robert’s family & friends.
He was a great co-worker,mentor & friend. I will always remember him for his kindness and honesty. He will always be remembered and missed.

Heidi and I were very sorry to hear about Robert’s passing. I hired him into Frisco Bay in the fall of 1999 and over time we became close friends. Our condolences go out to his wife and his family.
Robert was a gentleman and a quality individual who will be missed.
The Might Rakshi was one of the greatest, most generous friends you could have. He was always there for you whenever you needed him, gave everything and was never down. He could lift you up with a smile or a sentence, and a Rakshi hug was something special. Anyone who was lucky enough to know him will know what I mean. He’s irreplaceable, and I miss him like crazy. Love you brother.
Please accept our condolences. We were sorry to hear of Robert’s passing. We are sorry we never was able to meet him, Our prayers are with you.

The news of Robert’s passing was certainly a shock and very disheartening. My sincerest condolences to all Robert’s loved ones.
When looking back, I have plenty of smiles of times together. That’s what Robert would want … smiles.
I had the pleasure of woking under Robert’s guidance and respected his dedication to doing the right thing for our customers. The best part was that he always had time to ask about your personal life and your passions, past and present. My favourite story sharing was about the wonderful world of rugby. Always aim for the middle of the goal posts of life.
Cheers and God speed.
On behalf on my family, I would like to extend my condolence to Mr. Keil’s family. I feel so sorry for his sudden passing. We have lost a good friend, colleague and great inspirational leader. We’ll keep your family so close in our thoughts and wish you have peace and comfort

Rob will be missed by all his team mates at the Saints Rugby Club. He truly embodied the spirit of Rugby and made numerous friends on and off the field.
He was always smiling and his positive outlook was contagious.
You will be missed my friend.
Rest well,
Keith Muir
Our hearts and prayers go out to the Keil family. Their loss is our loss.
Robert was an inspiration to all of us. He will be remembered always for the gift of Friendship and Passion he has given us.
Robert Keil was a bright light, in an increasingly dreary world. The harmony between himself, and the world around him, his journey to seek happiness beyond the material, has come to an abrupt end. Yet, I think everyone who knew Robert was touched by his spirit. Although we first met in January 2008, our travels brought us together. I found a friend that I could trust, look up to, laugh with and share with. I marveled at his ability to connect with people effortlessly. He touched so many lives, which is a testament to the beautiful soul that he was.
You will be missed Robert, but your spirit will abide.
Dearest Patricia,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Robert was such a wonderful man – he will be missed dearly.
Zahira and Raj
Deepest condolences and sorrow for Robert’s passage to his family and friends. It is a great loss and I will always remember him for his kindness and honesty. He will always be remembered and missed.
Dear Patricia and Family,
I offer my deepest condolences on the sudden passing of Robert. He was a kind and generous man who had a vivacious spirit. He embraced life to the fullest and all of us who had the pleasure of knowing him are better for it. He will be fondly remembered and sadly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
I was with Robert in September at the ASIS conference. As always it was great fun seeing Robert and hearing him tell of his adventures since we had last seen each other.
I knew Robert professionally but thought of him as a friend. A few years ago I became ill. Robert and I would speak each week about business. With business out of the way Robert would inquire as to my health…and offer me his holistic remedies.
My condolences to Robert’s family. He lived life as it should be…in the front seat with the roof down and the petal to the metal.
Dear Patricia & Family,
I am very sorry to hear of the sudden passing of Robert. I was an associate of Robert’s at Stanley as we were working together to establish the automatic door business in the Middle East. I would describe your husband and father as a real gentleman. He was a true professional taking on a significant task and opportunity that was filled with challenges. He was always a professional, even during trying circumstances, with a positive, optomistic, and can do attitude. He will be missed by all that had the opportunity to work with and know Robert. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you during these difficult times. Best regards, Frank
I would like to extend my condolences to Roberts family.
I have known Robert for about 10 years and during that time I have considered him a good friend. We have had a lot of laughs over the years, both at work and after work.
His passing came as a total shock.
He will be missed and remembered by many.
I am very sorry to hear about the passing of Robert, he was a great friend to have in times of need. May he rest in peace and his family be spared any further sorrow.
Dear Patricia,
I am very saddened to hear of Robert’s passing. Robert was always a true gentleman and a good friend. Our friendship was always from a distance but our times together when we would meet up at ASIS events or for a golf game was always a delight. Rob leaves a big hole in the security community as he was known by many people throughout Canada and the US. I am upset that I will not be able to attend the service on Saturday, but I will be celebrating his life with a toast to our friendship at home and be lighting a candle to pray for your strength as you move forward. I know Rob would not want us to be sad, because the glass was always half-full wih his views on life. We last spoke in Anahiem this September and we shared a laugh (or two), a drink, and a few memories of the past. I will miss Robert and will always be thinking of him in my travels to events we would often meet up at.
A friend,
Chris McColm

My most sincere and heartfelt condolences on the passing of Robert. Despite our physical distance, Robert was always there for me – an encouraging word, a pat on the back and a big hug whenever he was in town. He had the biggest heart of anyone I know. He will be missed terribly and will live forever in my heart .
With deepest sorrow. Beth
To the Keil family,
You have my deepest sympathies for the loss of a good man. Robert always had a smile, was a font of information that he was always willing to share, and he was compassionate about everything he did. I enjoyed working with him and he will definitely be missed.
My sincere condolences to Patricia and family. I was looking forward to having Robert back in Canada and working with him again. I had the pleasure of working with Robert for 5 years with Frisco Bay I am where I am today because of Robert. He mentored me and groomed me for the position I currently have. Robert coached me and helped me thru some very difficult times in my life. I am most thankful for the path that led him to Stanley/Frisco Bay giving us the opportunity to get to know such a spritual and true man. Thanks for everything Robert you will be truly missed..
My deepest sympathies to the family, Robert was a wonderful man and will be greatly missed. I had the honor and pleasure of working with him for 5 years. May he rest in peace.
I had the privilege of working with Robert for 7 years. In spite of the distance that separated us (I was based in Montreal), Robert was a great collegue and someone I was proud to call my friend. I will miss him dearly. My condolences to Patricia and all of Robert’s loved ones.
Robert was always very interested in both the professional and personal side.
I feel lucky that we spent some time together at ASIS this year.
We will miss him.
RIP Mr. Keil I hope you find more mountains to climb in your travels…
With great sorrow I received the news of Robert’s unexpected death. Please receive my most profound condolences. I had the privilege of knowing and working with Robert and I had great respect and admiration for him. I will also be forever grateful for the opportunities and support he gave me, and for what this meant for my family and myself.
Robert will be always in our prayers.
I had the opportunity to work with Robert while my four years working with Frisco Bay and Stanley Canada and found him to be one of the most caring and most competant co-workers I have met in my long career on the work force. My sincere condolences to all his famly and friends.
We have all lost someone very special. Robert had an unfettered love of life and love of his fellow man.
I met Robert through business but Robert quickly converted every business aquantiance into a life long friend.
Every conversation with Robert was significant and effortless. Every outing was memorable.
My hearfelt condolences to his wife, son, family and friends.
Having known Robert for over 8 years, I got to know him as a private person who will help, advise and go to bat for his friends or team.
I wish to share my hope for the future that there will be a resurection for everyone, and Roberts wife and family should keep this hope in mind as a anchor during this very tough time.
Fabian
The news of his eternal journey has surprised us, in the same manner as his regular travels here on this planet. The difference is that he would come back to explain the reasons, which he won’t now. I am sure he knew what he was doing this time.
However, in doing so, he has left behind a bunch of individuals whom he worked with in Dubai, utterly sad. But then, it was the CALL that he had to answer so he could reside in his ultimate dwelling – the heaven.
I am sure he will distribute the same fragrance of love there.
With great respect and lots of love.
Robert, I will miss you same as any of your own.

Please accept my deepest sympathies on Robert’s passing. A good and considerate person, he was also someone honest and true. We met through business and ASIS, but I appreciate having known him for the genuine person I’m sure he was to all. My condolences on your tragic loss. Len K…..
I’m very sorry to hear of this loss. Robert is someone you learn to count on as being around forever. A shock and a great loss. But Robert would want a celebration of life… Rest in peace Robert.
To the Keil family…
Robert built a “family like” office in Vancouver during his time as the VPGM. All of us are sad to hear such news but you must know that while he was here he was always full of life. Made each day memorible, and made us all better people having known him. In your hearts know that he has made a positive difference to many people while he was here. As a parent myself, I hope that I can bring to my kids some of the life lessons and positive ways he has taught some of us. Gone for now but not forgotten!!
Dear Patricia and Family,
We are so deeply saddened to hear of Roberts passing! We will forever hold such fond memories of our time that we spent with all of you in India during the Sri Puram opening.
We also extend deep gratitude for your’s and Robert’s compassionate committment to the heart surgery program at the Om Sakthi Sri Narayani Peedam. As Narayani Amma always states, “Your words and deeds are expressions of your good heart”. Robert had a wonderful heart and this expression will travel with him. Om Namo Narayani
Our prayers are with you.
Derek & Susan Bullen and Family

My family is stunned at the tragic news we have heard. We are so very sorry for your loss and send you all our love and prayers at this time.
I had the great privilege to spend time with Robert in Anaheim in September. We broke bread and just enjoyed our friendship, but you know you were always foremost in his mind and very present in his conversation.
I am so blessed to have known Robert and to have experienced the joy that such a rare friend brings to your life.
With all our hearts,
Paul, Cheryl, Bethany and Erin (Vancouver)
