Obituary of KEIL –Robert Lee
February 24, 1958 – November 20, 2009
Robert Lee Keil, aka Rakshi, was born with an adventurous spirit on February 24, 1958. He departed on November 20, 2009, to continue his journey. While with us, he climbed to the base camp at Mount Everest and summitted Kilimanjaro. Robert was a professional engineer and an accomplished leader, whose business and personal interests took him around the world. Recently, he and his wife Patricia were residing in Dubai, where he was working.
Robert was a very spiritual man, much loved and respected by family and friends. He will be most remembered for his gentle spiritedness, inspiration, strength, generosity, and love. With enthusiasm, he took care of everyone around him, and was someone to whom everyone looked up and upon whom everyone could depend. He was in tune with the Universe, and extended compassion and unconditional love to all.
Robert was a dedicated father, son, brother, uncle, great uncle, nephew and cousin. He also had the unique distinction of being the world’s greatest husband. Robert will be joyously and lovingly remembered by all of his relatives and friends.
A Celebration of Robert’s Life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W.) on Saturday, November 28, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
