Condolences
I am a retired teacher and former colleague of Bill Dickie’s from Rosemount High School who has fond memories of his Mother’s support for teachers when it most counted. I also have very special memories of having been a student in one of Bill’s Physics classes in Grade 12 at the High School of Montreal. It was a true pleasure later to be able to call him both colleague and friend at Rosemount High School. To this day, there is a plaque on the wall outside his classroom in his memory. In 2007, I was able to include a tribute, with photo, to Bill by including, in the Yearbook, a reminder of who he was and what he did. To this day, the family legacy lives on in the form of Graduation bursaries in both Physics and Music. Among veteran staff members, Mrs. Dickie is fondly remembered for her caring support of the RHS community and teachers. I offer my condolences to the family. I, also, wish to express my gratitude and respect for both Bill and his Mother. They have indeed enriched the lives of many.

To Kay’s family
Please accept my condolences on the passing of your wonderful mother. I volunteer at Shouldice lodge and it was always such a treat to sit and talk with Kay. She was a gentle, kind lady who was genuinely caring about how I was doing. We were both from Montreal so we used to talk about the old place. I remember how excited she was when her great grandchildren were born. How special that you all had this time together.
