Condolences
My heartfealt condolences to your family. I only heard the news here in Houston last night from my Dad. He worked with Lou at Akita Drilling. I am currently in Houston but knew and worked with Lou for many years. We all hold many good memories of him. He will be missed.
Dear Celia,
Coming home from my vacation to the Middle East it was a shock to hear that my cousin Lou has passed away. Accept my deepest sympathy with your loss.
Once I met Lou when he visited auntie Aggie in Hoorn. Then he told us a lot about his family. Twice I met him in Calgary, and you Celia, and Lou showed your hospitality and open mind.
May God be of help to you.
Anka Tunnissen, Amsterdam, Holland

To Louis’ family members,
We are saddened to hear about the passing of Louis. We send our prayers to you, and we ask God to bless you in this time of great sorrow.

Dear Celia,
We join you in sorrow and in joy at Lou’s home-going. He was a true and steadfast friend, a man of integrity and courage who knew his own weakness and the strength and love of his Saviour. We rejoice with you that Lou is face to face with the One who loved him from before the beginning, while we grieve with you until you are once again with them both. May God the Holy Spirit comfort you with His abiding presence.
In His Love,
-Will Henrickson
Celia, you and the boys are constantly in our thoughts and prayers. I keep wanting to call you, but will wait till the right time…We are so glad we saw Lou and you so recently, so we could share our love and God’s love with each other! God’s ways are beyond our ways, but ‘He knows, He loves, He cares, Nothing this truth can dim. He gives His very best to those who leave the choice to Him.’ Our love and prayers,

Celia,
Lou was a father and a husband, and Sheryll and I are thinking of the great loss you have experienced.
I had the pleasure of working with Lou on several committee’s, we regularly collaborated on safety and work to improve our industry for all involved. Lou was a true professional, but more than that, Lou was a gentleman; calm, cooperative and friendly. I will miss him as a collegue, and as a friend.

I am so sorry for the loss of Lou, he will be greatly missed. I take this time to honor him as the mighty man of God that he was……..such a man of integrity and love, patience and kindness. Goodness had a way of oozing out of Lou. He taught me so much about love and life and he has certainly left his mark on the world. And the Lord, as he called him home will certainly say to him..”well done”, good and faithful servant, come and enter into the rest of the Lord. Our prayers are with Celia, Noel, Leon and the family.
Sincerest condolences in the passing of Lou. I worked for Lou at Tesco and always enjoyed his humour (especially regarding his bird and dog). He was a kind person and I’ll always remember him for his friendship.
To the Lou Klaver family.
Please accept my sincere condolences on the passing of his soul
My prayers are with you
God bless

Dear Celia and Family
Our sympathy to you during this difficult time. We are truly sorry to hear of Lou’s passing. We know that to “be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord”. However from our perspective his home going is a great loss. Because of a previous appointment we regret that we will be unable to attend the service on Tuesday.
Our love and prayers are with you at this time.

Dear Celia and family, Mary and Ed, Jake and Mary, and Angie and Doug,
We were so sorry to hear of Lou’s passing. Over the past 30 years Mary and Ed have often talked of her family in Calgary and, even though we are far away, we feel in some way part of Mary’s family. With the news of Lou’s recent diagnosis of cancer we often thought of you during the last few months. Please accept our heartfelt sympathy at this difficult time. We are thinking of you.

Celia and family, sorry for your loss. It was so nice knowing Lou. Dan always spoke of how smart he was and that he had the best handshake – firm and looked you in the eye. When we first all met I remember it was one of the best visits I have had with someone, so interesting. Our prayers are with all of you at this time .
All of us at Cubex Limited wish to extend our deepest sympathy to Lou’s Family and Friends. Lou not only mentored many young engineers but he worked very closely with many of his suppliers to optimize the performance of their drilling equipment. We recognized this early in our relationship and appreciated his patience, understanding, and sense of fairness. May God bless him.
Sincerely,
Bill Wilson
My Condolence to Lou Klaver’s family. Lou was my first boss at Tesco. Lou’s strong leadership, work ethics & values which I am proud to say has influenced me to this day. He will be missed.
