Dear Colleen, Jack and your families. I so wish that I could join you for the service on Friday, to honor your Dad but as you know circumstances forbid that. Please know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers during this time. As you know for almost sixty years your parents have been like family to me and we have spent many happy hours together. Your Mom always made my birthday cake and we were usually together for their birthdays as well, especially in more recent years. I have many cherished memories of them both. They were a wonderful, hard working couple who did so much , not only for their family but for everyone who’s lives they touched. I am pleased they are now back together for eternity. You will be much in my thoughts and prayers in these days as you work together to do what is required. Love to all Barb.
