Obituary of SORENSEN –Alfred

September 19, 1913 – November 6, 2009 Alfred Sorensen passed away peacefully on Friday, November 6, 2009 at the age of 96 years. Alfred is survived by his two sons, Garry (Esther) and David (Ann); grandchildren Lisa, Shelly, Scott, Gail and six great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife of sixty five years, Stella in 2005. Alfred was born in the Holden area and resided there with Stella until 1997 when they moved to the Beaverdam Lodge in Calgary. Alfred was active with various groups within the community and was an avid outdoorsman and environmentalist. He loved to hunt, fish and was known as a wonderful dancer.
