Condolences
Was surfing the internet looking for old friends. Harvey was not my closest friend but was a good friend. He was always the model Christian and always seemed to walk the high road. I was goof friends with a lovely young lady whom we always referred to as just BR. Many good memories of our late teens and early 20’s. It always stuns me to find out that someone we knew so well passed into eternity, seemingly so early.
Dear Betty Ruth and family,
It is with sadness we learn of the passing of Harvey. Please accept our deepest sympathy. What a wonderful friend and kind helper he was to my parents. You are/were both appreciated more than you’ll ever know. Mom and Dad loved you like their own. Harvey was part of their lives his whole life, as you know, and they are saddened by his early goodbye. They rejoice however that they will see him soon when once again we are all together!
May the Lord sustain you and surround you with His presence at this difficult time.

My condolences to the Reimer family on the departure of Harvey. I met Harvey when he displayed his carvings in the main building while working for the Government, and subsequently aquired two of his carvings a loon and a mallard. The two carvings are sitting in our dining room watching over a bunch of small loons & ducks.
Betty Ruth and Family, it was always a pleasure to see Harv and discuss his carving and his life outlook.
He was an honorable man, and it was an honor knowing him in his Ottawa
years

Mrs. Reimer and family,
We were also saddened to read about Mr. Reimer’s passing. I will always remember my visits to your home in Ottawa on Sunday after-noons and Mr. Reimer showing me some of his latest pieces of artwork. He was an extremely talented man. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

To my dear sister, BR and family,
David and I send our love and prayers to each of you. Harv’s ife was too short on earth. He was a wonderful husband, father, brother-in-law and friend to many. He will be greatly missed but we know he is rejoicing in heaven and we will join him some day.
