Condolences
Dear Rae, I am so very sorry about your husband’s passing. In deepest Sympathy

Dear Rae
We are so sorry to hear about George’s death. We didn’t know that he had been ill.
He will remain a happy, inspiring image in the Fothergill household. The guy that went on epic runs (eg Sunridge Mall to buy shoes), spent hours and hours tending the lawn and was out before dawn shoveling your huge driveway(or was that you Rae)? We will miss him, but we are so glad we had the opportunity to be your neighbors on 10th Avenue.
Our thoughts are with you Rae
Love Marnie and PIers Fothergill
So sorry to hear of George’s passing. We have enjoyed our many years of being together at Norseman ski trips and parties. He was a great guy and will be missed by all those who knew him. Rae our thoughts are with you at this difficult time.
Dear Percy – I want to tell you how sorry I am to hear of George’s death. My heart goes out to you. I have an idea just what you and your girls must be going through. Bob passed away a year ago – in October too, at 77 years of age. I remember both of you with great fondness. I know that George was so very well liked by Bob when they worked together at the Sarnia site which seems like so long ago – I hope I don’t sound like a “ghost” from the past. I am sure that your girls will be a great comfort to you. My family has been great. I send a BIG hug to you. Can you feel it? Love, Marnie
We haven’t seen George or Rae for many years now as we now live in Texas but I have fond memories of George as a Manager, mentor and Dow Chemical colleague on the EOEG project from 1977 into the early 80’s. I would like to express my condolences to Rae and family for your loss. I will always remember George as a warm and engaging human being, a boss who set high expectations of those around him but provided support and coaching when needed.
Hello Rae, We are really sorry to hear this sad news, our sincere condolences to you & family. We remember our fun norseman x/c ski trips with you both & our transition with George on overnight trip coordinating. Our thoughts are with you.
Dear Rae,
We’ve missed both George and you at ski club events in recent times – and we’re so sorry to learn now that George is no longer with us. Our thoughts are with you at this difficult time.

Dear Rae,
Sorry to hear of George’s passing. Although I only met him a few times, he seemed a lovely man. I know how hard it’s been for you both over the last few years. I wish you and your family good health and happiness in the future.
Hilary
Dear Rae.
My condolences to you and your family.
I didn’t know George well but remember the pleasant chats with him when our paths crossed, on the ski trail, at Norseman gatherings and at Hort Society meetings.
Thinking of you,
Hjordis Anderson
Hi Rae:

I will always remember George with great fondness and humour – he always was able to make us laugh even in the stressful times! He was a wonderful boss and a good man filled with kindness and fun.
