Condolences
Mrs. Hiscox, Rick and Susan. Having been so long gone from Calgary, I just heard of your loss today. My deepest condolences to you all. Although it has been so many years, the picture you chose says it all in a much more eloquent manner than I could possibly put into words; a great big smile; a very, very nice man with a wonderful family even if — as your long ago neighbours across 23rd Ave. — we had to put up with Rick’s pranks on a regular basis. My thoughts are with you all.
So sorry to hear of your loss. I know you were very close and your father was a great mentor on how to be a great father. I met him only once and at that time he was very proud of his truck and camper (I think, they were going to travel into the states) anyway he was real proud to show be the big extra fuel tank he had installed. That must be 1973 fuel crisis when I sold the Buick.
I just learned about your loss. I am so sorry and appreciate the pain you are going through. My thoughts are with you all. Take care.

Hi Rick;
Many memories from the Sundays spent at Tom’s West End working on my old ’52 Ford. Your Dad was so kind and encouraging letting have access to the shop and the materials.
My condolences to you and your Mom and the family for the loss.
He was really quite the guy.
Regards,
Don Gowan
