Condolences
I recently visited with a high school friend I haven’t seen in 30 years. He mentioned Sandra’s passing. I was so sad to receive the news. What I remember most about Sandra is how her smile would light up a room and the many lives she touched even at an early age. May God comfort her husband, children and entire family. RIP Sandra.
By far the best teacher i had, whenever I had troubles in math or was confused on the topic she would be more then happy to help me. This amazing lady had one major goal, and that was to make sure all of her students were successful. I remember the last class I had with her. Her smile is one thing I will never forget. To this day I still remember your face. Your in a better place now – God Bless

Sandra grew from a “bonny” baby to a wonderful mother, wife, daughter, sister, friend and teacher. She will remain in our hearts forever.
Love, Bill, Fran, Linda, Audrey, Maureen and families
We would like to express our deepest sympathy on your loss.
Sandra was our daughter, Tiffany’s homeroom teacher in Claresholm and also taught our two boys. She was adored by the kids and as parents we always found her very approachable and very helpful. We thank God for the positive impact she had on not just on our kids but the other kids and parents as well in the community.
We pray that God will sustain you as you go through this very difficult time.

Mrs. Maurer, was a wonderful teacher. She will be greatly missed by everyone. She always brought joy, and was loved by everyone. So sorry for the loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family.
I am very shocked and sorry to hear of Sandra’s sudden death. I met her once at Ernest Morrow Junior High School. She was very friendly and kind to me as the new school nurse. Please accept my sincere sympathy. May God give you strength to deal with this tragedy.
Mr. Maurer and Family,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all during this difficult time.
I am thinking about the loss of a light in this world. For all of us that were lucky enough to be a part of Sandra’s sphere of influence, shine your light brighter so that the world is not diminished and remembers what she added.
Sandra you were a trusted friend and a treasured colleague and a gift to all you came in contact with. My deepest sympathies.
Dear Randy, Blake and Gavin- Difficult days come unexpectedly, we cannot plan for them neither can we prepare for how they will affect us. I pray that the Lord in His mercy will reach down from on high and take a hold of you all in His loving arms. I pray that you will sense His presence with you and comfort you at this time of need. God bless you and grant you his peace that passeth all understanding in Jesus Name…Amen
I would like your family to know what a truly special woman your wife, mother, daughter and sister was. She taught my oldest son and always managed to find the good in him even when others didn’t. Logan had always thought that she was one of the best teachers he had ever had. When we lost our son 4 years ago she was one of the first that we heard from and had some very touching and enlightening things to tell us about him. She had such a good heart and and had a very large impact on the students and their families that she taught. We feel very grateful to have had a chance to meet her. Please accept my family’s sincerest condolences. She will be very missed by all of us. Our hearts go out to you all, especially to her children.
I was fortunate to have Sandra as my practicum teacher at the middle school in Claresholm. She was an amazing Math teacher and I learnt so much being in her classroom. Sandra’s enthusiam radiated to the students and she was so positive and fun. I am grateful for her advice and will fondly remember Sandra always. My thoughts and prayers are with her husband, two young boys and family.
Dear Randy, Blake, Gavin, Irma, Walt and Janet,
We were saddened to hear of Sandra’s death, and can not imagine your overwhelming grief. May knowing that others care and will always fondly remember Sandra help to ease your sorrow now. May your future soon be filled with wonderful warm memories of happier times together, and may your pain be replaced with satisfaction for the time you had together. We will never understand why these tragic things happen, but we can be comforted by knowing that the time we had together was spent in the best way possible. Pride yourselves in knowing that you enriched Sandra’s life as much as she enriched yours.
