Shirley was my best friend for many years. We lost contact and for years I looked for her. Today I see why I could not find her. How sad. Forever I will cherish the beautiful memories of wonderful conversations and laughter that we shared. Shirley had a laugh and smile that I will never forget. There will never be another Shirley Fox. I had the privilage of meeting and working with this amazing woman and she passed on a lot of knowledge of our ancestors. What a beautiful and smart women she was and what an honour to have had the opportunity of getting to know her and listen to her. She will be sadly missed and I offer my sincere condolences to her family for their loss of such a wonderful woman….my prayers are with you during this difficult time. Ihay!

To the family of Shirley – just wanted to send my condolences to you and I pray for comfort and strength to the family and to those that knew her. I worked with Shirley during her practicum at Native Counselling Services of Alberta a few years ago and I have always known her to be a friendly, nice and caring person.
