Joyce was a great person. Always pleasant to us and great to spend a moment with. the Canada Day picnics always fun.
A proud Albertan who really was the quiet backbone of her family in the last years.
A great sense of appreciation and admiration to the women who surrounded and helped Joyce in the final years. They were truly her strength

My deepest condolences to the friends and family of Joyce Austin.
I knew Joyce for half of my life through the Premier’s office. She was always a pleasure and joy to be around. She always had such kind words to me and my family. I always shared a giggle with her whenever I visited the office or saw her at various functions.
She will be truly missed.
