October 24, 1934 – October 7, 2009 Oene Miedema, of Calgary, passed away Wednesday, October 7, 2009 at Foothills Medical Center attended by his sons; John Miedema of Bozeman, Montana and Jim Miedema of Chicago, Illinois. He was 74 years of age. Father, Brother, Grandfather, and Friend. He was pre-deceased by his beloved wife, Donna. Brother to Rienk and Johannes, Grandfather to Owen, Marika, and Annika. Father-in-law to Rebecca. Oilman, Scientist, Student. Lover of life, friendship, learning and golf. He will be missed and remembered. In lieu of flowers: support your local greenskeeper.
