Condolences
Helen, my sincere condolences to you and all the family.
Stanley’s obituary has stirred up memories. My maiden name was Rankin and my mother’s maiden name was Hamilton (Winnie).
I remember visits from Beth and Aunt Madge at our family home in Winnipeg.
Marg.
Helen, I am so sorry for your loss. I think of you often and wish we were together again to share a smile and friendship. My thoughts are with you.

Helen, I am so sorry for your loss, Stan was an inspiration to me when I first joined Commercial Crime, his dedication to his work was always secondry to his love for his family.
It’s been years since I’ve seen Stan but I will always remember his incredible wit and very dry sense of humour. My deepest condolences to you and Carolyn.

Helen & Family – you are in my thoughts and prayers at this difficult time.
You & I worked at the Treasury Branch on 8th & Centre years ago.
I so remember when the two of you came down to my Dad’s farm at branding time south of Nanton. They then went across the creek & branded my uncle’s cattle as well.
We teased Stan that when he went to work they would wonder what happened to him, as he had numerous bruises. Pat.
Dear Helen
I was just stunned when I read Eileen Brown’s e-mail telling me that Stan had passed away. I then looked up the obituaries in the Calgary Herald where I read the beautiful words that were put together to describe the essence of Stan. It’s such a wonderful picture of Stan that depicts his beautiful inner spirit.
You and Carolyn and her family will miss him terribly. The void will always be there and I know at times how difficult it is to force oneself to remember the good times.
It seems like only yesterday and not a year ago that I saw both of you at the reception for Doris. I so appreciated the presence of both you and thank you for your wonderful words about Doris.
Please know that you are in my thoughts and I will be thinking of you.
I’m sure we’ll be in touch through Eileen in the coming weeks.
Sincerely
Garfield Anderson
