Obituary of – Joanella Marie nee McInnis CORBETT

September 23, 1946 – September 19, 2009 Joanie beloved wife of Stephen of Calgary passed away on Saturday, September 19, 2009 at the age of 62 years, after a courageous battle with cancer. Besides her loving husband Stephen, Joanie is survived by her son Matthew (Kelly) of Scottsdale, AZ.; her mother Phyllis “Girlie” McInnis; brother Robert McInnis; and numerous nieces and nephews. Joanie was predeceased by her father Frank McInnis, and her sister Betty Black. Certified Psychologist, businesswoman, wife, mother, and life partner, Joanie’s vibrant spirit and positive attitude made her a remarkable person. Joanie’s trusted advice helped guide us when we needed it the most. Through her work and her generosity she touched many. To the countless number of people that relied on her judgment and sound advice this will represent a serious loss. To her family and close network of friends she will always be lovingly remembered.
