Condolences
Bob was my first supervisor and friend in Portage la Prairie MB back in the early 70’s .
He took me under his wing and provided superior guidance.
I visisted him in Cold Lake while I was still stationed in Portage and was with him again when I was posted to Cold lake later on.
He was a person to remember and will certainly be missed.
Its a shame that the good ones go at such a young age.
Ill miss him.
Alan Mackenzie ( retired fire fighter)
In my childhood, it was a special summer treat when Grandma Barnsley’s friends Aunt Dolly (Laura) & Uncle Doran drove from Arizona and stayed on the farm at Grandma’s house. I fondly remember Christmas packages from them – pencils with my name embossed in gold were a highlight! In my university days I had the privilege once summer of working as a guide at the Motherwell Homestead National Historic Park.
My thoughts and prayers are with you.
