Condolences
I never met you, Great Uncle Norman, but I remember the stories from my grandfather Bruce, and other great uncle John "Jack". What a broad and beautiful family we had shared. Rest in peace.
Uncle Norm was forever the great communicator – his irreverent humour, his sharp wit and his keen eye were only matched by his hugely affectionate nature. He always made me laugh. And his fabulous letters were a constant joy to my mum and dad to the end of their days. What a loss.

My deepest condolences to the family, you are all in my thougths and prayers.
Love Skottie
My Great Uncle Norm was always such a joy to be around. Our visits were always in California when he and Uncle Jack would come visit sister Margaret. He took me to upscale restaurants and we would sit together soaking up the sun rays quietly. He will live in my heart forever. He will be missed greatly. My prayers are with the family and friends. God be with you all.

I went to St. Augustine Junior High School with you. In taking note of your father’s death I wanted to send you my sincere sympathies.
The loss of your mom and dad in close proximity is an additional sadness.
I wish you well and will remember both you and your parents in my prayers.
Respectfully
Greg Schmidt
We will miss Brother and Uncle Norm. We always looked foward to the weekly phonecalls between him and brother Jack and all the news from Calgary.
And the great holiday we had a few years ago seeing the Calgary clan.
One of my fondest memories is of Uncle Norm travelling to Toronto and Belleville on one of his many visits, and sitting on our front porch feeding the squirrels from his bag of mixed nuts he always carried in his pocket – he made friends with all the squirrels on the street.
We will miss him greatly and will think about him often.
Love,
Jack, Ev, and Debbie Shaddock and Carol, Bill, Jaclyn and James Harrigan
As a long time fellow worker with Norm I wish the family strength in their loss
and a celebration of their fathers life well lived.

I miss you daddy. You were always my rock to lean on throughout my life. I will miss our always interesting conversations, and still cheer for the Bruins, not Montreal. You will be remembered not only on Remembrace Day but each day by your little girl.
Thankyou for all of the picnics, zoo trips, and always being there for me whenever I had an event going on.
As always, your daughter, VAL
Dad, you are the bravest man I’ve ever known…I will miss you every day of my life…love, Margaret X X X X X
