Obituary of WATSON– Joan

October 19, 1926 – August 15, 2009 Joan Watson beloved wife of Robert (Bob) Kelley Watson, FCIS of Calgary, passed away on Saturday, August 15, 2009 at the age of 82 years. Joan was born and raised in Liverpool, England and immigrated to Canada with her husband and family in 1966. Joan started a new career as a Real Estate Broker in Toronto, after raising her family of four children. Following retirement Joan and Bob moved to Calgary. She was a member of the Burma Star Association and enjoyed playing cards with her friends at the Dr. Vernon Fanning Centre. Besides her loving husband of 62 years Bob, Joan is survived by her children and their spouses, Bob and Barbara, Ken and Roz, Susan and Ted, Joan and Shamel; seven grandchildren Jeff, Suzanne, Lindsay (Alan), Carolyn (Jim), Christopher (Cory), Noah and Zachary; two great-grandchildren Danica and Savannah; three sisters Mary, Veronica and Theresa. Joan was predeceased by her brother Tom.
