Prudent was my Godfather, however, I don’t remember the moment I was baptized. I do remember the moments he was with us. They were great. And so we must remember him.
We are so sorry about Prudent’s passing. He was a great friend to my dad (Emil Regner) They sat at the same dinner table. My dad misses him so much and feels very sad for your mom. Prudent was always cheerful and I remember when he told me he wasn’t well – he didn’t feel sorry for himself he just said “what can you do – I had a good life!” He was amazing and always cheered others up. My condolences to all of the Van Waes family. Prudent was a great guy and I will forever have warm and fond memories of him. Growing up in Millican/Ogden was a positive experience and he played a big part in that for many of the kids. My self knowing four of you children personally Tony, John, Jerry and Pauline I know he was a wonderful father and he raised a very nice family. We are deeply sorry about the loss of Prudent. We are thankful that we all have met him a few years ago, because we can remember him as a very happy man with great sense of humor.
Dad I will miss you and all the good times we had on our day trips, keeping me awake with your talking while i drove. Costco, hockey games, special suppers . Keep those angels around you laughing. Love doug
We have just learned of the loss of your father and express our deepest sympathy. He always presented himself in good humour and a respectful character. A loss of someone so close is difficult to overcome as we just lost our father recently as well and understand your grief. He has a wonderful family to encircle and gain strength from.
Opa we are so grateful to have had you a part of our lives. We love you very much and miss you – you’re probably still talking up a storm up with the angels :) You will forever be remembered, loved and in our hearts. I know you’ll be watching over us.
