Obituary of MARSHALL – Elinor L.

March 6, 1912 – August 5, 2009 Elinor Marshall passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 5, 2009 at the age of 97 years. Elinor was born March 6,1912 in Spring Lake, Alberta. Elinor began her teaching career in a one room school house in central Alberta. In 1929 after her marriage to Claude, they moved to Calgary where she worked for the Alberta Government for a brief period before returning to the class room. Elinor and Claude loved travelling, and to play duplicate bridge. She was a gifted piano player, and in later years loved to entertain residents of the lodges where she lived. Elinor was predeceased by her husband Claude in 1987. Heartfelt thanks to the nurses and staff at the Cochrane Bethany Care Centre for their compassionate care and friendship given to Elinor.
