Obituary of Frederick Noel WALTON

December 16, 1925 – Belfast, Northern Ireland March 8, 2018 – Calgary, Alberta Fred Walton passed away on Thursday, March 8, 2018 at the age of 92 years. Fred and Doreen came to Canada in 1955 and lived in Ontario until they moved to Calgary in 2009. Fred worked for Rothmans for 29 years. Besides being a devoted husband, father and grandfather, Fred enjoyed fishing, golf, reading and discussions of politics, news and sports. He was a quiet man and often quoted poetry by heart. He is survived by his loving wife Doreen of sixty-two years; his two children Sharon (Bill) and Harold (Suzanne); his four grandchildren Paul, Ian (Tara), Meghan, and Chelsea; his brother Victor (Edith), and his many nieces and nephews in Ontario and Britain. The family would like to thank the staff at Peter Lougheed Centre and Rockyview General Hospital for their compassionate and professional care of Fred.
