Obituary of Tiffany Lynn Cox

Tiffany Lynn Cox (Halliday), beloved daughter of Mitzi and Ernie Halliday of Cochrane, passed away on Friday, January 30, 2009 at the age of 19 years. Tiffany was born at the Foothills Medical Centre on October 13, 1989. She was raised in Cochrane and graduated from Cochrane High School in 2007. Tiffany moved to Calgary shortly after graduation to start her life as an Adult. She loved animals and children and was working as a nanny for nine-month old Jasper Dueck, whom she adored. Her other passion was her seven month old puppy Harley, who died at her side in the same tragedy. Tiffany was loved by all who knew her and is a treasure that will truly be missed. Besides her loving parents, Tiffany is survived by her sisters, Brianne and Madison of Cochrane, Stephanie and Steph Chernish of Calgary; Mark Cox of Kingston, ON; grandparents, Brian and Joan Edmunds, Robert Gaudry of Moose Jaw, SK and Gordon Halliday of Campbell River, BC, Linda Halliday-Sumner of Cumberland, BC and great grandmother Betty Sorenson of Moose Jaw. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends; as well as her extended family Shannon, James, and Jasper Dueck, and Lisa, Bruce, Gabrielle, Emily and Mary St. Pierre. Tiffany was predeceased by her boyfriend Jonathan St. Pierre. “Tiffany was as much of an Angel on Earth as she will be in Heaven” Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Cochrane Funeral Home (369 Railway Street, Cochrane, AB) on Thursday, February 5, 2009 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A Celebration of Tiffany’s Life will be held at Rock Pointe Church (corner of Lochend Road and 1A Hwy, Bearspaw, AB) on Friday, February 6, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. Graveside Service to follow at Cochrane Cemetery.
