Condolences
Hi Janice, very sad to hear the bad news. I was just the cleaning lady in your house for awhile, but I met him a few times trying to speak Spanish my first language. My most sincere condolences to you and your family.
I am truly sorry for your loss.
Thoughts and prayers to your family during this difficult time from the BC hockey community.
I played hockey with your children at the Brebeuf school hockey program and I am so sad to hear of your loss. I will miss you Ron, you were such an accomplished man.
To the Rempe Family
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
Dear Janice and family,
My heart breaks for your loss. Although you know my husband better than myself, I will never forget our dinner with your family in Las Vegas. We could have talked all night long. What a beautiful family you have. We are blessed to know you.
My deepest condolences to your family. I am thinking of you during this very difficult time.
We are so sorry to hear of Ronald’s passing and offer our sincere condolences to his family and especially Irene and Gunther.

Ron and I were on a long road trip through Europe with two more friends in 1977. I have enjoyed his company – he was funny, witty and enjoying life. So sad to hear about his untimely passing! My sincere condolences to his family.
Janice and the Rempe family,
I was so shocked and heartbroken to learn of Ron’s passing. He always held a special place in our family as we’ve known each other since elementary school and were close friends. He was such a good, kind and respectful man. I am so very sorry for your loss. You are all in our prayers.
Dearest Janice, Alexandra, Stephanie, Matthew and Family
We are so sorry to hear of the passing of Ron. What a kind and generous person he was!! Ron gave generously of his time and resources as the Chairman of the Board at our school. He was passionate about our school because his beautiful children attended there. Our friendship grew from there and we remember fondly his zest for life, his joy and pride in his family and his kind and generous spirit. He heard our son was playing drums and so he gave him his beautiful drum set with such enthusiasm and joy. He always asked about others and was genuinely interested in other people. Of all his wonderful accomplishments in life, his family was his pride and joy!!
You were all so fortunate to have him in your life and can take comfort in knowing his spirit is still with you all.
Sending love to you all,
– Walter & Margaret Reid
My sincerest condolences to you all. I hope you find strength in each other and through Ron’s memory.

We really appreciated his sense of humour

Dear Janice and family,
I am so very sorry for your loss. I still tell the story about the year our boys were on the same hockey team and came in 3rd at provincials and there were no bronze medals and Ron so generously offered to have medals made for all the boys on the team. It was such a kind thing to do and the team was so happy.
Thinking of you all.
Caroline Labadie.
The news of Ron’s passing is such a shock and so sad. My condolences to both the Rempe and Dick families I know you are all very close and I hope that will help you get through this tragedy.
I am very sorry I cannot attend Ron’s memorial as I am out of the country at the moment.
It was an honour to have known and worked with Ron. I have good memories of the first days of CALC and our first project with just Ron, Ken and myself working out of Ken’s condo and later Triangle Steel’s basement.
I had the utmost respect for Ron as an Engineer and such an appreciation of his compassion as a human being.
We didn’t keep in touch as much as we should have but he will always be remembered, appreciated and missed.
Alan

Janice, Steph, Alley and Matt,
Our sincerest condolences for your loss. We ran into Ron over Christmas only a few months ago and had a wonderful chat with him. He couldn’t have been more proud of his family and we are thankful his passion for his children and hockey allowed us to cross paths. The quality of his character and lust for life will be sorely missed but his spirit will live on and continue to grow through all those who shared a part of his life. Our prayers are with you.

To Ron’s family.
First, my deepest condolences to all of you during in this very challenging time.
Ron was an amazing man, and his passing will be felt deeply by many. I am one of the very lucky to have shared time with Ron. Through the work discussions he shared this exceptional technical talents, but the bonus was having great conversations with Ron on a personal level. Ron’s love for his family was always front and centre, and we spend considerable time on this important topic. Ron shared stories of him meeting his love, Janice and the later arrival of the twins, Alexandria & Stephanie. Janice, that full wall day/night painting in the twins bedroom was incredible! Matthew was also in his stories but most of my conversations with Ron those years ago are well before the adult you have become. Hope you share your Dad’s love for collections, as he was a collector of many, and both of my adult children have some of his collectables in their prize possessions.
Ron often talked about his parents, and his brother Dennis and sister Nicole, and the tight 5 way relationship they had. A bond that generated some of the best ice cream in the province. We often shared ice cream at the local stand, but unfortunately not the true famous “Rempe” formulas.
Ron’s size was significant, but his kindness to all was just HUGE. Ron always had time for the three “F’s”, of family, friends and his faith. And now may his cultivation of those three “F’s” help you during this very difficult time.
Charlie, Jackie, Brandon & Jenise

My deepest condolences go out to the Rempe family for the loss of Ronald. Ron, Juergen Schmidt, Manfred Schmiemann & myself roamed Europe together during the summer of ‘~73. The adventures, laughs, antics, experiences & nono’s will always be with us! Our personal afternoon visit with Max Schmeling (world heavy weight boxing champion 1930-32) was Ronnies most memorable day. Wish we could relive it!! So sorry we didn’t get the time revisit the great times we all had!

My thoughts are with you Rempe family. Ron was one of my favorite people on this planet. I always looked forward to our visits or phone calls and I cherished our conversations about life and love and everything in between. He had an extremely profound impact on me as a person and coach and I am so blessed to have known him. I will miss his boots, his smile and his company. My condolences are with you during this difficult time and if there is anything I can do please let me know.
I’m sorry to hear of the passing of your loved one, Ronald Rempe and would like to express my condolences to the entire family. An encouraging scripture is Isaiah 41:10, 13, “Do not be afraid for I am with you, Do not be anxious for I am your God,… I will help you,.. I am grasping your right hand…” Also our Lord Jesus promised that he would reunite us with our loved ones. John 5:25-29,…”the hour is coming when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God…and come out to a resurrection of life.”
Janice,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your kids. Take care.
Love,
– Dawn and Wayne

We are so sorry and saddened to hear about your loss. When we first met Ron, he was someone that really stood out with his colorful boots and personality. But, as I got to know him over the couple of years that the girls played hockey together, what stood out the most was how much he loved his family and how proud he was of his kids. Hope you find comfort in all your wonderful memories. Our thoughts are with you.

Janice and family,
While we only really got to know Ron briefly through our time at various hockey rinks these past 2 years, it was clear that family was a driving force in his life, in particular, supporting his children in pursuing their passions and dreams. We will miss his friendly presence and stylish boots around the rink. Our thoughts are with you all and we hope you are able to comfort one another during this difficult time.
Our deepest sympathy Nicole, Glenn, and family.
