Obituary of Mary Schneeberger

Mary Elizabeth Schneeberger (nee Reynolds) passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Friday, February 8, 2008 at the age of 80 years. She was born on July 26, 1927 in Copper Cliff, ON to Charles and Hortense Reynolds. Marie married Gottfried “Fred” Schneeberger in Winnipeg, MB. The family moved to Calgary in 1967. Marie had a long and fruitful career as a music and drama teacher with the Calgary Board of Education. She conducted many award winning vocal and hand bell choirs at the Kiwanis Music Festivals. Marie is survived by her children, Mark Schneeberger, Alison Laidley, Madi Gronberg, and Mary-Jane Schneeberger; their respective spouses; and her grandchildren, Ashleigh and Thomas Gronberg, who gave her immense joy. Memories of Marie will live in the hearts and souls of those who loved her.
