Condolences
My condolences to you all. I enjoyed talking to “Aunt Ruth” from time to time when I would answer Helen Glover’s ringing phone for her. I would chat for a few moments with Ruth before passing the phone to Helen, and as I left the room would often hear giggling and joyful conversation between the two sisters.
Dear David and Diane. This is a heavy loss to bear. I hope that it was a glorious and liberating transformation for your mother. Old age is a burden. Aunt Ruth was so good and kind to my mother who preceded her by only 8 months. I will miss her Christmas letter. She was distant but dear to me
My deepest condolences to Diane, David and your families.
I have many wonderful childhood memories of your mother’s welcoming smile at your back door on Onaway Rd and her reassuring voice from upstairs as Diane and I played. Then through the many years and houses to come her quick wit, practical advise, infectious laughter and again and most of all her beautiful bright smile. It was a privilege to know her.
Love Cheryl
Diane and David,
I’m so sorry for your loss.
I will always remember your mom for her quick wit, sense of humour and willingness to pursue new interests even at an advanced age. She was a role model for us all.
Dave, Alison and Family:
