Fran and I still live next door to Dale and were neighbours to her and John all the time that they lived on our Crescent. I liked him and enjoyed seeing him; I liked his sense of humour and his life and his happy, cheerful, attitude. I liked the way he could play with words and his background: ``G`day, mon.` And his enjoyment of his 1970s (I`m guessing a bit!) Pontiac Transam. He was a real person and a good man. So many years have passed, yet I can still hear your voice & see your face in my mind’s eyes & ears. I will never forget helping you out of the hospital arm around you while your wife supported the other side; or sitting with her as comfort for you both; or being asked by her to visit on my own. I knew you, cared about you, miss you!
