Obituary of Lynda Margaret WELDRICK

May 3, 1947 – Montreal, Quebec July 15, 2019 – Calgary , Alberta Lynda, beloved wife of Bruce Weldrick of Calgary, Alberta passed away on Monday, July 15, 2019 at the age of 72 years. Lynda was born in Montreal, Quebec on May 3, 1947. She married Bruce on September 28, 1974, and moved to Calgary, Alberta in the early eighties to pursue her teaching career with the Calgary Board of Education where she spent the next thirty-five years teaching high school math. Lynda was also an avid member of the Alberta Teacher’s Association. She enjoyed playing golf, travelling and meeting new people. As a member of the Calgary White Hatters, Lynda was always meeting new people and was able to travel to Alaska with her new friends. Besides her loving husband, Lynda is survived by her children Keith (Karen), and Andrea (Jeff); and her granddaughter, Casey. Lynda is also survived by her Brother, Michael (Joanne) of Montreal, Quebec; and sister-in-law, Jean of Whistler, BC; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Lynda was predeceased by her brother Keith, and her parents, Jim and Margaret. A service will be held in memory of Lynda at a later date to be decided by the family.
