Obituary of Bjorg Jonina Brownell

It is with deep sadness that the family of Bjorg Brownell announce her passing on Sunday, December 31, 2006 at the Foothills Hospital. Bjorg was born in Winnipeg on December 8, 1920 and resided there until she moved to Calgary in 2000. Bjorg is survived by her son Laurence (Heather) Brownell of Winnipeg; her daughter Alix (Gary) Jackson of Calgary; and seven grandchildren, Katie, David, Signy, Jon, Lauren, Cameron and Morgan. She was predeceased by her parents Gestny and Ludvig; six brothers and sisters; Krisjorn, Hulda, Vilborg, Gestur, Sigrun and Evelyn. A Memorial Service will be held in Winnipeg at a later date.
