Obituary of De Page
Sheila Gloria De Page of Calgary passed away peacefully after a lengthy illness on Friday, December 8, 2006 at the age of 65 years.
Sheila was born on August 12, 1941 in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. She came to Calgary, AB in 1968. Over her 35 year career as a teacher, Sheila taught at numerous Catholic Schools in Australia, England and Canada. Sheila was a devout Catholic and immersed herself in church life.
Sheila is survived by her daughter, Bobbie-Ann De Page (Corey Goacher), her son Christopher (Charlene McKinnon), her granddaughter Makenna De Page, as well as her sister Kathleen Penman and her brother Harry Rowland both of Australia. Sheila is predeceased by her parents Morvyth and Henry Rowland.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary’s Cathedral, 219 – 18th Avenue S.W. on Wednesday, December 13, 2006 at 10:00 a.m.
The family wish to thank all the staff of Intercare at Millrise, for their support and love during the last eighteen months.
