Condolences
Although we met Wade 25 years ago, it was in the last 6 years that, as a neighbor, we got to know him better. Wade faced the last few months with courage and optimisim. This was a fine young man and his passing is a loss to all who knew him. Our thoughts are with his family.
It was with great sadness to hear of Wade’s passing. All of us remember Wade as a true gentleman; always approachable, friendly and professional. We had the privilege and honor of working alongside Wade for over 10 years, and he will be deeply missed by his friends and former colleagues at Shell.
Our heart felt condolences to you Karen, Connor and Dawson, and the rest of the family.

Chris and I were so devasted to hear about this heartbreaking news. We knew Wade for a short time through hockey and as neighbors in Mahogany, but he really made our family so comfortable that it felt like we knew each other for years. You have a truly wonderful family and both of you will shine in your boys forever. We feel deeply for Karen and the boys and hope that you can find some peace in the coming months. We live in Houston now and can’t be there to support you in person, but you all will be in our thoughts and prayers. Please give Dawson and Connor a big hug from Matthew.

I’m so sorry to hear about the loss of your husband, father, son, brother and friend. We went to school together and unfortunately I didn’t get the chance to visit before he passed away. He will be remembered as a great man who did a lot of things for a lot of people. He was always kind.
Wade was one of the friendliest genuine guys I’ve had the pleasure to meet since moving to Calgary. Always great for a chat or to share experiences whether it was about hockey or meeting Billy Idol :). I met Wade through hockey as our son’s played together with Bow Valley. I’m grateful to have had Wade as an amazing friend and will miss him dearly.
Be at peace my friend!

Our sincerest condolences to the entire family. Many prayers and much love is sent your way during this time. I am happy to see a memory tree will be planted. My children had wanted to send a tree to you all to plant and were happy to read you are doing this. I wish I had more words to say, but I can not think of any good ones. So I will simply say that my family is keeping all of you in our thoughts.
I am so deeply sorry for the loss of your dear husband, father, son, brother, and friend. My thoughts and prayers are with you all as you cope with this sudden and tragic loss, and find your way through the world without Wade. I know grief does not go away. It will be with you always, but it will become more manageable and I wish strength and peace for you as you battle through the coming months and years.

I have no idea how to even put into words how sorry I am for the loss of such an amazing man. I cant imagine what the boys, Frank, his mother and yourself, his life partner, his loving wife are going through. My heart is with you. Wade was such a special person, he inspired me a lot, I looked up to him and I loved any time I got to spend with or around him. I will never stop missing him whenever I think of him. Love you cousin Wade, I look forward to seeing you again someday in a better place.
When I think of Wade, I picture his smiling face and his caring personality. Wade was always there to help, teach, mentor, and encourage. I have many fond memories of Wade; the fun we had and the connection we made working together, ‘turning wrenches’ on night shift. Wade will truly be missed.
Our heartfelt sympathy goes out to you and your family.
