Dear Ozzie, Rick, Donna, Cheryl and families: I am saddened to hear that Howie has passed on. I remember well the years that we were neighbours on Lake Wapta Rise and our children enjoyed each other’s company! Many years have passed but those memories live forever- cherish these and all memories of a loving husband, father and grandfather.
Ozzie, you and Howie have always had a special spot in my heart. My memories of you both are of a loving, caring and happy couple. I will always cherish these memories of Howie and I wish you and your family the warmth of his love and the memories that you hold dear.

It has only being such a short time, but already we miss Howie’s friendly warm smile as we reflect back over the years of meeting and socializing! Anytime, we had seen Howie, Ozzie would not be far away. They were inseparable and the void Howie leaves cannot be described. It can only be realized by those that have experienced this tremendous loss. Gloria and I, along with our family send our most sincere condolences to you Ozzie and your family. Rest In Peace Howie!

Howie was a good friend and mentor. He will be dearly missed by us. We know how difficult this is for the family he was so proud of. Our thoughts are especially with Ozzie; who was so dear to Howie. The world has lost a good man.
Our deepest sympathy,

Such a lovely tribute to a great man! Our most heartfelt condolences go out to dear Ozzie, their beloved children and most cherished grand-children. May you all find some peace and comfort, knowing he no longer suffers; that no longer being encumbered by the physical body, he, as Soul, is now free to soar. Farewell dear Howie!
June 16,1969 , hard to believe 50 yrs ago a 20 yr old cowboy started with Calgary Coop. I worked with Howie and John Virgo in the marketing office for three yrs. Howie was the smartest retail manager that I ever knew. Many good memories of all the people in HO and the stores. Sad that most are all gone. My condolences to Ozzie and family.
