Obituary of Douglas Hornford

Douglas (Doug) Ralph Hornford of Calgary passed away suddenly on Sunday, October 15, 2006 at the age of 52 years. Doug had a varied career, in the oil exploration industry, and in heavy construction of roads and suburbs. He was currently employed at Vitran Logistics. Doug was a friend to all and helped many of the less fortunate along the way. Doug is survived by his parents Shirley and Herb Hornford; his sister Susan and brother-in-law Don; niece Britt and nephew Olin Erickson. A Memorial Service will be held at Holy Cross Lutheran Church (20 Banister Gate, Okotoks, AB) on Saturday, October 28, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. (When southbound from Calgary on Hwy. 2A, take the first left turn into Okotoks and the Church is then easily visible).
