Obituary of Gordon David Horvat

Gord, beloved husband and father, passed away on Tuesday, June 20, 2006 at the age of 43 years. Gordon was an outdoor enthusiast who enjoyed fishing, snowboarding, hiking, camping, golfing, biking, and snowmobiling. Gord’s big heart and gentle nature made him especially loved by children. He was a talented machinist who took pride in his trade. Gord is survived by his loving wife Sharon and his son Clayton; stepdaughter Dana and her son Foster; devoted parents Frank and Shirley of Calgary; father and mother-in-law Ron and Evelyn Webster of Barrie, ON; six siblings, Pat (Trish) of Lethbridge, Jim (Patsy) of Calgary, Sharron (Rob) of Calgary, Dan of Ohio, Lynn (Philippe) of Vancouver, and Beverly of Calgary; and numerous nieces and nephews.
