Obituary of Yellow Fly

It is with sad hearts that we announce the passing of Jeffray Wesley Yellow Fly, of the Siksika Nation, AB on Thursday, May 18, 2006 at the tender age of 18 years old. Jeffray was the beloved son of his parents Wesley and Lenora Yellow Fly; brothers of Jason, Trestan, Brandon and Nealon Black Horse; aunties Bernice Yellow Fly, Betty Yellow Fly, Lynda Yellow Fly, Marisa Medicine Shield, Rita, Myrna (Morris), Brenda (Cameron), Letty, Sharon, Della (Jerome) Black Kettle, Delphine Yellow Wings; uncles Leonard (Rhoda) Black Horse, Kelvin (Bertina) Black Horse, Bradley Black Horse, Allan (Jennifer), Gordon (Linda) Gary (Harvina) Reynolds, Floyd Yellow Fly and George Ayoungman; grandparents Kenneth and Doris Yellow Fly; great aunt Virginia and Allen Medicine Traveller. Jeffray was predeceased by Baby Joshua Yellow Fly; grandparents Leonard and Marina Black Horse; great grandparents Teddy and Jane Yellow Fly, Vivian White Elk; auntie Vivian Black Horse and Vivian Service nee Yellow Fly; great auntie Annie Black Kettle; uncles Wayne and Joshua Black Horse, Gordon Yellow Fly and Emil Red Crow, Donald Broad Scalplock, Baby Donald Broad Scalplock; cousin Jillian Black Kettle. Wake Services will be held Tuesday, May 23, 2006 at 6:00 p.m. at the Siksika Community Centre, Siksika Nation, AB. A Celebration of Jeffray’s Life will be held at the St. John The Divine Anglican Church, Siksika Nation, AB. Graveside Service to follow at the Paul Little Walker Cemetery (Siksika Nation, AB.)
