Was my pleasure and honour to have known Mel Hulse when I lived in Calgary from January of 1981 to June 1992. My only regret was not staying in touch with him after I had moved on. Truly was a great friend, mentor and human being. After all this time I still think about him from time to time and as is the case now, miss him terribly.
