Condolences
Peter, Sally, Terry and Bean,
I was just thinking about your parents and decided to look up them on google. I did meet your dad at a Dressage show just before he passed and was able to talk with him and thank him for the years i knew and rode with your family. I think that he was pleased to see that I still ride. I can never repay those years your family gave me the opportunity to follow my passion.
Over the years I have much to thank your mother for as she was like a second mom to me. I will never forget the evenings that we sat on the porch watch the lightning over the mountains, the grape juice she gave us after a hard ride. My first experience with black olives (that I thought were black cherries) as she frequently had those as a snack for us. I regret that I did not keep up with them but hope that she can hear my heart now.
Those summers are a treasure I have forever.
Terry – thank you for those summers as well. Your friendship during that time is valued as well.
I lost my mom shortly after you lost yours so I know that the pain and missing them never really goes away – all you can do is remember them with love.
My love to you all and thank you for the memories I treasure.
