I am not sure if anyone will read this at this point. But I live in Nanaimo, B.C. and came across what I believe to be one of Nel’s quilts in my local thriftstore. I absolutely love handmade quilts and always pick them up when I see them. I saw a patch on it, and googled her name and came across this obituary. I wanted to let you know that one of Nel’s quilts will now be cuddled with me and my five children and loved for years to come.
