Condolences
It is with great sadness that we hear of the passing of Roy He was such a great friend to Albert and our entire Hoffner family. Iam sure he will be playing a few rounds of golf with Albert now that they are both together again.
Dear June, Robin, Rick, Drew and families
I truly am so sorry to learn of Roy’s passing.
Roy was such a kind and gentle soul.
June, I first knew you and Roy as parents, (Robin, you and I were in the same grades in Swan Hills); then as a co-worker at Home Oil, and then through the Home Oil Social Club.
Roy was always so easy going and so much fun to be around. He was always happy and what a great sense of humour! I often think of the adventures we had on the Home Oil bus trips – great memories I will always treasure.
It was an honour to know Roy.
May you find some comfort in knowing that he was well liked and respected and will be missed by all who knew him.
A life well lived, to be sure.
You will miss him terribly, cherish all your memories, and know he lives on in each of you.
My thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this very difficult time.
My sympathy to all the Ferrari families.

To the Ferrar (Ferrari) Family:
I would like to express my sincerest condolences on the passing of Roy. I worked with Roy at Home Oil for many years and remember him as always having a smile on his face and a unique sense of humour. Roy was a very knowledgeable and practical person offering a sense of reason no matter what the challenge. He was a joy to work with.
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your families.
Sorry to hear of Roys passing.Knew Roy at Home Oil and at many coffee gatherings in later years. A life well lived.
I knew Roy as a great friend and golfing buddy in the Home Oil Retirement Club and we got together for lunches later in his life when he was on dialysis. He delighted everyone with his great sense of humour, even when facing trying health problems. Nancy and I are thinking of you June ,and your family. We wish you comfort as time passes.
SO sorry for your loss. Drew spoke so lovingly of his dad.
Sorry to hear of Roy’s passing June..my condolences to you and your family. You had a very long life together and you will have many happy memories!
Ernie always spoke so well of Roy too.
Drew,
Susan informed me of your father’s obituary; please accept my condolences. It is always hard to lose a parent, no matter how old we are or they are. My father passed away in 2009 at the age of 98 and I still cherish his memory. I hope you and Kurt are happy in Vancouver and both leading meaningful and productive lives. I seem to remember a young girl in the picture. I hope she enriches both your lives.
All the best, Myron Podlog
To the Farrar (Ferrari) Family:
So very sorry to hear of Roy’s passing. I had the pleasure of meeting Roy and June on a few occasions, and realized that they were a very special couple. My deepest sympathy to all of the family, you are in my thoughts and prayers.
I was very sorry to read of Mr. Farrar’s passing. I lived across the lane from your house and played with Robin and his brothers when we all were quite young. One day Mr. Farrar was cleaning birds that he had hunted. He showed me how he could manipulate the feet by pulling tendons. I never forgot my first biology lesson!
