Condolences
My sincere sympathy to Brij and all of Sue’s family. She was such a bright light at our Tai Chi class and we miss her very much. May your happy memories help you after such a loss.
I have fond memories of Sue. She brightened each day for everyone she met.
This is such sad news. Susan was a lovely woman, kind, gentle and with a delightful sense of humour. She was also a valued and wonderful colleague and will be sadly missed. My thought a and prayers to all of you.
I remember Susan when I was a graduate student in civil engineering at the Uof C. I have good memories of chats with this lovely, gentle lady.
Brij, my condolences to you and your family. I am thinking of you during this very difficult time.
Susan was a true gem of a woman. Although we had limited contact here in the UK, she was always a breath of fresh air whenever we were reunited. A great void has now been left which is impossible to fill. However, we all know the fantastic, kind, loving person Sue was would not want us to hang our heads in mourning, but to be happy and enjoy our lives in her name. She will be sorely missed by all of us at the Housley residence. Love always, The Housleys.
Dear Brij and family, my thoughts are with you through this trying time. Sue was a lovely and kind person. She will be missed by many. Sending you hugs and prayers.
Dear Brij and family….I well remember seeing Sue from a distance at W. O .Mitchell School Concert. Her smile was the first thing to catch my eye. Later, the smile flashed early one school morning as the girls headed off on a bus trip to somewhere….
As the years passed, I came to recognize Sue’s smile as warm, happy and genuine….it was not just the look alike smile of Julia Roberts. It was the real thing. It matched the gleam in her eyes and the joy of her essence. This was not a fake it til you make it lady….Sue was never the imaginary woman of fairy tales. Her spirit to me was made of all the best in life….beauty, appreciation, honor, perserverance and devotion. Go with Peace, Sue. It was a pleasure for me that our daughter’s brought us together and you will remain cherished in my heart as truly as you will in those of others.
You have my deepest sympathy. It was privilege to call her my best friend.
Please accept my condolences. Susan served the Project Management program with gentle care and dedication for many years. It is my honour to have known and worked with her. Thank you.
Our hearts are broken and our thoughts and prayers with you all. So very sorry for this loss – she has left a mark of love, kindness and compassion in our lives and we are forever grateful for having been a part of her radiance and light. Forever missed. Forever cherished. Forever appreciated and loved. Our deepest sympathies. Nicola and Tom Galassi and Family
Sue was a wonderful person – fantastic to work with. My deepest sympathy and condolences.
Sue and Brij were wonderful neighbours in Silver Springs and she took my kids in so willingly after school – Mark and Kate were good friends. Sue was a lovely beautiful lady – full of love and compassion – even our cats shared a friendship and solidarity against intruders. What do you say when someone so lovely is taken so soon?
Sue & Phil
Very few people in this life have pure hearts- sue is one of them. Although in my heart I truly believe her soul will always be with us so I cant miss her, I still say it through tears.
May god bless her & give her the gift of feeling our love ’til we join her.
I can tell that Susan would have been exactly the kind of woman I would have loved for a friend- and clearly so much of her is reflected in my friend Kate who is also beautiful, fashionable and compassionate. I am so sorry, Anand family. I hope that in the coming weeks and months you all experience nothing but compassion, love and warm memories. When my mom passed, we all swore that a certain star twinkled brighter than ever before, it felt like it was just for us and we relied on that star when we missed her most. My small offering to you is to look up- you’ll find your star too.
Kurt and I wish to extend our deepest condolences to the Anand family for the loss of Sue. She truly was the most wonderful, kind and lovely woman. And though she will be terribly missed, she will not be forgotten. We hope that your fond memories of Sue will help to bring you comfort in this time of grief.
