we will miss Dave as a friend and companion on the journey of live. Miriam and Brendon
Dear Adele,
Strange as it may seem, about the same time that Dave might have passed, he came to my mind. And what I thought to do, was to write him a little note, thanking him for his gentle and diligent presence at all the St. Brigid’s events – liturgies, meetings and social times together.
I always appreciated his calm demeanor and wisdom, that came from a life fully lived.
May you and your family be blessed with the gentle touch of happy memories of times spent together.
I will miss his smile and kind words.
Love
Lois Perron
The world has lost a luminary with Dave’s passing. To Adele and her family we offer our heart felt regrets at his untimely exit. We have lost a true gentleman and one of the kindest hearts. St. Brigid’s and Calgary already miss his aura of peace.
Love,
Garth and Jenny Miller
Dear Adele and family
I am so sad to hear that we no longer have Dave in our temporal lives.
We miss his gentleness and positive attitude which were his gifts in a world largely lacking those attributes.
We at St. Brigid’s community already miss his faithful and loving presence which graced us for so many years.
A spirit like his however, I don’t think will ever be lost as we remember him. Especially if we continue to acknowledge and hug each other as he did.
Please accept our condolences on the loss of your father. Our thoughts are with you and your family.
My deepest sympathies to you Adele and your family at the loss of this bright star. He was such a loving man with a ready warm smile and hug every time we met. I will miss his presence greatly.
Love,
Jane Oxenbury
