Condolences
Janet & Ryan,
We were so sorry to hear that Barry passed away. Barry was a great guy and always had a smile on his face. We always remember the great times at hockey games at the Lake Bonavista Rec Centre as well as all the fun times at hockey tournaments when Ryan and Jeff played together. I am sure you have wonderful memories of your own that you will always treasure. Thinking of you during this difficult time.
Sincerely,
Brian & Betty Fleming
Janet and Ryan,
We were saddened to hear about Barry and send our thoughts and condolences to you and the rest of his family. It has been many years since we all hung out at the hockey rink but we have good memories of those times spent watching and cheering on our boys.
Hopefully your memories and Barry’s artistic works will help you through this difficult time.
Our sympathy.
Lois and Gordon Fairhead.
Dear Janet and Family,

Hello,
I am so sad to hear of Barry’s passing. What a beautiful obituary. I worked with Barry for many years at Canadian Taxpayers Federation. He was always so much fun to talk to and I really missed him when he left the organization. Please accept my sincere condolences.

Janet and Family : I am so sorry for your loss . I for one will always think of Barry as Uncle Barry. I am thankful for the presence he had in my life from father’s day picnics in the early 80’s, Little bear Lake(where I caught my first fish ) , to fishing trips up at Charles lake . He filled a room with kindness and warmth and I can hear his kind hearted laugh in my mind. Barry will be in my thoughts for life .
A wonderful unique eulogy by a very special man. He will be missed and remembered. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Janet and family:
We are so sorry for your loss. What a wonderful obituary. To have lived such a great life and be thankful for so much brings a smile to our lips. Yes, I will stand on a hill and let the sun and wind envelope my body and I will think of Barry and be happy. As well, each time I go to the Cancer Clinic in Regina, I will think of him and draw strength from his words. Although we have not seen you and Barry for a long time, I still remember the first time we met in Calgary with Gene and Sharon. We had so much fun at your place – skating on the lake, and hot chocolate around the fire after. You both made us feel so welcome. May all the wonderful memories you have with Barry make you smile and ease the pain in your heart. Sending you love and Hugs. Cheryl and Gerry Miller, Moose Jaw
Janet and family,
So sorry for your loss…Barry was a gentleman, charming, talented, honest,
and courageous. Always we lived miles apart, but enjoyed our visits with you,
and remember his warmth and kind spirit!
We wish you moments of peace, as you remember all he gave to life..
Our condolences and love,

Dearest Janet and family,
Just like Barry to summarize his life!
He was creative, artistic, and an articulate story teller.
He was humorous, positive and adventuresome.
He loved and was loved.
Shall miss him.
You are in our prayers.
Rest in peace Barry, you have been the best man I’ve ever known. I’m so thankful that you have always been there for me and Julia. You are sorely missed. Lots of love, Tracey
Dear Janet , Ryan and the whole Darcy family, I am so sorry for your loss.
Dear Nana, Dad and the rest of the Darcy family, I give you my deepest condolences. My papa was very important and special to me and I miss him.
Dear Janet and family,
It was good to be able to talk with you and to provide our condolences personally.
However, what was not said was how much I treasured the times Barry and I had together, canoeing on the Bow River, collecting trees for our landscaping, the parties and of course our friendship. Barry was kind, helpful and a true friend.
Though our paths diverged over the latter years the renewal we experienced during your recent visit made me realize how fortunate I am to have known Barry. He will forever be in our thoughts.
