Condolences
Dear Bob and Suzy and all the Johnson family.
We were very sorry to hear of Mr. Johnson’s passing. When he moved to the Bethany in Airdrie, our families crossed paths again. The special memories will keep his spirit with you and that will be his legacy.
Thinking of you all-
Tom and Diana Kitchen and family
We want to extend our heartfelt condolences to the entire Johnson family during this very sad time.
Even though we know kind words won’t mend your heartache, our wish for you is that you find peace and comfort in cherished memories of a wonderful man.

We were so sorry to hear this news. I didn’t get to see Uncle Shirley and Aunt Doreen often over the years but we did get to see them in 2015 when we were in Saskatchewan at the family farm. My dad was always very fond of his big brother and they shared passion for golf and baseball. Our sincere condolences from Ottawa
Very sorry to hear of Shirley’s passing. My sincerest condolences to everyone and I will always remember the great times I had while growing up next door to the Johnson family. Your door was always open.
To the Johnson family: Our prayers are with you over the passing of Shirley, or Coach Johnson as he was always known to me. Coach Johnson was my first Little League coach in Edmonton and I will always remember him as a kind and passionate leader on the field. We could feel how much Coach Johnson cared for us as players and as kids. Whenever I came in contact with Coach Johnson over the years I was always greeted with a warm smile and handshake and he was interested in my life and family. Thank you Coach Johnson- for all that you gave us, we always wanted to make you proud of us.
Our sympathy to the Johnson family from the former players of the BREWERS baseball team he was liked and respected by us all
My sympathy to Doreen and her family. Always great to see Doreen and Shirley at family reunions. Always so kind and loving. All the best to the family.
We are saddened to learn of the passing of Shirley. We both had the pleasure of knowing and working with him for many years at TransAlta.
He was a kind, sincere person and a great teacher.
“When someone you love becomes a memory, that memory becomes a treasure.”
Our thoughts and sincerest sympathies are extended to all of you at this time.
Sincerely Joyce & Mark Meldrum
So sorry to hear of Shirley’s passing. He was well loved.
The Johnson Family in Ottawa wants to express our deep sorrow at Shirley’s passing.
We always enjoyed our visits with him over the years, and really enjoyed his sense of humour.
Many times over the years when any of our family members were in Calgary or just passing through, Shirley and Doreen always made us feel very welcome in their home.
We’re very sure if there isn’t a golf course or ball diamond in heaven when Shirley gets there, he’ll make sure that they will be built.
We will miss you Shirl.
Vic and Kaye Johnson
