Obituary of Jake DOERKSEN

June 9, 1935 – Main Centre, SK December 22, 2016 – Calgary, AB Jake was peacefully taken home to be with his Lord and Saviour on Thursday, December 22, 2016 at the age of 81 years. Family and friends will remember Jake dearly for his gentle ways, servant’s heart, and solid unwavering faith. Jake will be missed greatly by his children Beverley (Garron) Smith, Brent (Karen) Doerksen; his brother Henry (Betty) Doerksen; and his large and loving extended family. Jake was predeceased by his wife Roberta (May 10, 2011); brother Dave; sister Helen McCarthy; and parents David and Margaret Doerksen. Well done thy good and faithful servant.
