Condolences
From Steve Gail and family
On behalf of Gail and I and family thank you so much for your love and prayers.
Please know we are very gratefull to our Lord for the peace that surpasses all human understanding at such a time as this. There is a Ben shaped hole in our heart, we love you Ben!!!. We are leaning on our dear Lord and His promise as expressed in 2Corinthians 1:3,4 ” praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that (one day) we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God”. With all our love and thanks Steve and Gail
Our sincere condolences go to your family. Ben was our homecare support person for many years as my wife and I are in our eighties. He was not only helpful, friendly, caring and supportive; he was also a very good friend of ours. He would proudly show us pictures of you and your beautiful children. I gave Ben a CD of my piano music as I was a professional musician throughout my life. When you listen to it, know that the person playing the piano really loved Ben.
Larry and Doris MacLachlan

All of us at Peter Coyle Place are shocked and heartbroken over the sudden loss of Ben. There are no words adequate to express our sorrow for your loss. You and all your family are in our thoughts and prayers. Ben took incredible care of 50 or our residents here with kindness, compassion, patience and respect. He truly embraced the unique vision of Peter Coyle every day in his work and thus held a special place in our hearts. He always had time to help, have a kind word or jump in with the team on a tough day, always with as smile.
Ben was an integral part of the Peter Coyle family. He has left a big hole that will take a long time to mend. Although he was in a care giving role, the first thoughts of the residents were for you and your two precious girls that he loved so much and shared with us on very special occasions. May you find strength in the days ahead surrounded by family and friends and know he will be sorely missed by many at PCP who cared for him and for whom he cared.
So sorry for your loss, cannot imagine what you are all going through right now, we are all thinking of you all at this difficult time, you are all in our prayers. Forever in our thoughts and prayers, the staff at extendicare Holyrood.
So very sorry to hear of Ben’s passing at such a young age.
Your family is in our hearts and prayers.
May the Lord draw close to you all and keep give you His PEACE.

Dear Mrs. Faulkner and family,
We are so sorry to hear of Ben’s death and we want to express our most sincere sympathies to you and the family during this difficult time from the team here at Local 211, United Nurses of Alberta. Your husband was a highly valuable and respected member of our team here and the effects of his passing are already being felt by his fellow colleagues and management.
Ben was a wonderful nurse who understood the meaning of the word “team.” He was always more focused on the good of his clients and his impact on the team will not soon be forgotten.
Please accept our sincere condolences for you and the family. Ben was a remarkable man and everyone here is better for having known him. For those of us that had the privilege of calling him “friend” outside of work, we were humbled by his kindness and compassion to everyone around him.
He will be greatly missed and everyone here is saddened by his death. Know that our thoughts and prayers are with you and his family and friends during this difficult time.
With sincere sympathy,
The members of Local 211 United Nurses of Alberta

What an unexpected loss for this beautiful family. I’m very sorry to all of the family for missing their Son, Father, Husband, Brother, and Uncle.
I didn’t know Ben or Melody for very long, but what I do know is their love for each other and their two little girls is strong.
Thank you for befriending our family and me, and thank you for letting me care for Lucy as that was a heart opening game changer for me. My thoughts are never far from you at this time especially, may you be blessed with your heart to be allowed to grieve for this loss. And with each heart cry know that your strength for the love of your family will grow and be healthy and happy.

Irving and I want to let you know that we are so sorry for the loss of Ben. Steve and Gail the pain of losing a child is hard to bear. Also this is also so difficult for Ben’s wife and his daughters. The rest of the family and friends will also have to deal with such a loss. Praying for you all.
This is such a loss for everyone, I just can’t even imagine what the family is going though. Home Care is losing such a wonderful person and RN……thoughtful, patient and caring. He would always take the time to chat with us secretaries and made our day with updates and photos of your family. I remember he told one of the other secretaries what his middle name was when we were discussing baby names, so every time after, whenever he walked by, she would yell out Benjamin Kyle, loud enough to make everyone jump! Glad I was working the times you brought in your beautiful girls, they are treasures. Our office will never be the same without Ben….we all looked up whenever we heard his voice or laugh.
Thinking of you during this difficult time. Praying for you all.
Sorry to hear of you loss. Will be praying for the whole family
I really don’t know what to say except that I’m so sorry to hear this and I pray that you will somehow experience the Lord’s comfort as you walk through this valley.
Melody, words escape me, please know my thoughts and prayers are with you, your two beautiful girls and Bens family. Arlis
Steve and Gail.
So sorry to learn of your loss of Ben.
We lovingly remember you all.
Ron and Marcie.
I love you Melody, Isa and Evie. God bless you all in this time of need. You have so much support and love surrounding you and I’m so devastated for your loss.
My thoughts go out to the family during t this difficult time. Such a tragic loss. Ben had a presence on the floor at SCHC. He was always willing to chat and most conversations involved discussion of his family. Ben was an incredible person and RN and his presence will be deeply missed and never forgotten. My deepest condolences.
Ben was such a special person. His smile could light up a room. We’ll never forget how, as a little boy, he loved to sing songs from children’s records. It lifted your heart! Always happy, joking, laughing; kind to all his cousins, a true “big brother” to the little ones! He is going to be missed so much by so many. We love you, Ben, forever!
Aunt Debbie and Uncle David

Our deepest sympathy to all who loved and held Ben dear to their hearts; such a number of individuals I simply cannot fathom. So thankful for the weeks we spent together back when we were young kids, including ski trips and fun times at summer camp. Praying our Savior Jesus lifts and carries the broken until He returns and we are all reunited!

Steve and Gail and family. So sorry to hear of your loss. We pray for you all to experience the comfort of the presence of the Lord.
I have been working with Ben for only 7 months but during that time I spent many hours with him. I have never met a man like Ben before. He was the best nurse with his clients. Everyone calls him ” our ben” we will miss him tremendously! There will never be a replacement for him…no one will ever be Ben …he was truly one of a kind and this world is a sad place with him not in it. My heart breaks for all of those of you who loved this incredible man.
My sincerest condolences to Ben’s family. My heart is aching for you all and for the great loss we all will experience. I worked with Ben at Renfrew and admired him greatly for his dedication to the nursing profession, to our clients and, always at the forefront – his love of family. Melody, we met once – I made a quilt for Isabelle. I would be honored to make another for your Evelyn.
Wishing you peace …
Sending Love and Prayers in your time of need.
We are so saddened by your loss and are thinking of you constantly. May God bring you comfort.
Steve and Gail, the girls and Thomas. We are heartbroken at the news of the loss of your precious son – brother, Ben. Love to you all. Lori and Bruce St Clair and family.
