Condolences
Michael Boutin was an inspirational teacher and a good man at heart. He taught me a lot throughout the course of high school, and I think he made a positive impact on a lot of people who attended his classes. His sense of humor was wonderful, as was his sense of life, truly. My condolences go out to his family and relatives.
It was a pleasure to work with Mike, not because he was easy going and never created ripples at school; rather because Mike jumped in to all he did with such gusto that every interaction was richer because of him. Thank you for sharing him with us at Centennial.
“The fact is that in order to do anything in this world worth doing, we must not stand shivering on the bank thinking of the cold and the danger, but jump in and scramble through as well as we can.”

Our deepest sympathy to Jen, Adam and Lucas on the passing of such a wonderful man.
With love,
Lauren Barnes Meegan and family
Mike was one of my first gymnastics coaches, and was like one of many older brothers I felt like I had in the gym. Going on to train and compete with him on the MAC team in my first year are among many memories I cherish. Studying stats together on a Saturday afternoon, getting ready for exams, recommending a good book … many random memories that flood my mind, and of course, the camaraderie around a ski weekend campfire. My deepest sympathies.
Jenn, Lucas and Adam, I am shocked and saddened to learn of the passing of Mike. I enjoyed his company on our many Scouting activities together. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to help during this time of sadness.
